Harnett Mini Aero Club

Welcome!!

Welcome to the online home for the Harnett Mini Aero Club!  We are an AMA chartered club (#5061) comprised of local hobbyists who get together in order to support and promote the interest in and safety of radio controlled aircraft.  We fly electric, nitro, and gas aircraft of all types and sizes, and welcome members of all skill sets, from beginner to experienced!  

Current AMA membership is required for joining and flying with our club, but spectators and those interested in the hobby are always welcome!  Whether you're new to the hobby, looking to maybe get into it, or looking for a local club with a supportive atmosphere to enjoy flying and increase your skills, we'd love for you to come out and join us!  We usually fly on Saturdays and/or Sundays (as that's the best time for most of us to get to the field), and usually depending on weather conditions.  Club meetings are held the third Sunday of every month at the field around 3pm.  We also do group barbecues every once in a while, as well as support other local area flying events. 

Our club is located at 2688 Red Hill Church Road near the corner of Red Hill Church Road and Dry Farm Lane in Dunn, NC. We hope you'll come out and fly with us sometime. We hope to see you out at the field soon!
